Welcome to Mrs. Stanley's Page
My name is Vanessa Stanley, and its my pleasure to serve you at Fulton Schools College and Career Academy. As a veteran teacher with almost 19 years in the classroom, I am thrilled to have this opportunity.
As the CTI Coordinator I am here to support our students with an Individual Educational Plan (IEP) or 504. CTI provides students the opportunity to sharpen skills learned in their career and technical education classes. In addition, to supporting their accommodation's as outlined within their IEP or 504 plan. CTI services may be provided in the classroom and lab environments. CTI's provide CTAE instructors with tools and strategies to assist in meeting their individual student needs.
CTI students are encouraged to join our Student Lead Organizations (CTSO) which help develop confidence and maturity through meeting challenges and completing projects as they prepare for state wide competitions. As they receive recognition for those achievements, their self-esteem grows and they become a more confident and successful student. This has not only been a life's journey for me but an adventure.
